The update adds Git integration, server and DNS clustering, passkey login, white-label controls, multi-domain email forwarding, and automated WordPress optimization without an additional SPanel charge. Together, these new features expand SPanel from a conventional hosting control panel into a broader application deployment and infrastructure management platform.
Seven New SPanel Features for Deployment and Hosting Management
ScalaHosting has added seven SPanel features that connect website deployment with server, DNS, account, email, and application management. The company announced the update in July 2026 and stated that the features would roll out to SPanel accounts without requiring separate software installations.
1. Git Version Control Automates Code Deployment
SPanel now clones public and private repositories from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and self-hosted Git services accessible over SSH. Developers can synchronize code on a schedule or initiate immediate updates through push webhooks.
The interface also allows users to switch branches, inspect commits, check repository status, and run deployment scripts after each pull. Developers can therefore update hosted applications by pushing code instead of transferring files manually through FTP.
Automated deployment simplifies how code reaches a server. The next addition addresses what happens when an application requires more than one server.
2. Multi-Server Clusters Distribute Hosting Workloads
SPanel now combines multiple servers within a single managed cluster. Administrators can assign dedicated roles to web, database, and mail nodes while connecting those servers through shared storage.
The cluster includes node-health monitoring and a load balancer that distributes requests between web nodes. Administrators can add server capacity as application requirements grow, creating a clearer upgrade path beyond a single-server environment.
SPanel does not make every scaling decision automatic. Administrators must still plan node roles, resources, and application behaviour. A multi-server environment also requires resilient DNS, which SPanel addresses through a separate clustering feature.
3. DNS Clustering Adds Nameserver Redundancy
SPanel now connects standalone DNS servers and replicates DNS zones across them. When an administrator changes a DNS record, SPanel synchronizes the update with each participating server.
This structure allows businesses to operate redundant nameservers on separate machines. DNS can continue resolving when one participating server becomes unavailable, while administrators avoid copying and maintaining zone files manually.
Distributed infrastructure improves resilience, but it also increases the importance of secure administrative access.
4. Google, GitHub, and Passkeys Expand Login Options
SPanel users can now sign in with Google or GitHub accounts. The platform also supports passkeys through Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, and compatible hardware security keys.
Passkeys reduce reliance on conventional passwords that attackers can phish, leak, or brute-force. The new authentication options give administrators and account users more control over how they access the hosting environment.
Secure access supports individual users, while SPanel’s expanded branding controls address agencies and resellers that provide panel access to clients.
5. White-Label Controls Strengthen Client Branding
SPanel now provides greater control over the logo, colors, displayed panel name, and login URL. The customized branding begins at the login screen and continues throughout the client-facing interface. Agencies and hosting resellers can therefore manage client accounts under a more consistent identity. Customers no longer need to enter an obviously third-party environment to manage domains, websites, databases, and email.
That client-facing experience also extends to email operations, particularly when a business manages several domain names.
6. Multi-Domain Email Forwarding Simplifies Domain Changes
SPanel now forwards email for an entire domain to one or more destination domains through a single rule. Matching addresses on the original domain route to their corresponding mailboxes at each destination.
The feature simplifies company rebrands, domain migrations, and multi-domain operations. A business can redirect sales, support, and billing addresses without creating a separate forwarding rule for every mailbox.
Integrated email complements SPanel’s application management features. For WordPress users, the platform now also automates several performance-related installation tasks.
7. WordPress Installations Receive Automated Optimization
New WordPress installations on ScalaHosting cloud solutions now receive a performance-oriented configuration. SPanel configures LiteSpeed Cache, provisions a dedicated Redis object cache, selects a modern PHP version, and replaces WordPress’s request-driven wp-cron process with a server cron job.
SPanel also warms the page cache and checks that pages are served from it before completing the installation. This process removes several manual configuration steps for users unfamiliar with WordPress caching, object caching, and background tasks.

HostScore sees the SPanel update as a meaningful expansion from hosting administration into application deployment and multi-server management. Git integration connects code repositories with hosted applications, while server clustering connects those applications with a broader infrastructure layer.
How Does This Position SPanel for the Future?

This broader role makes SPanel more relevant to AI-assisted development. Spanel users may generate applications through tools such as Claude, deploy the code through Git, and manage the supporting hosting services without assembling several disconnected platforms. Managed email is particularly useful because real applications often depend on registrations, password resets, and account notifications.

Skai is not generally available yet, but the latest features establish part of the operational foundation required to turn AI-generated code into hosted applications.
