Consumer Fraud – BEWARE!
Network Solutions is refusing to reimburse me for: 1. Renewal of a hosting and web page design plan (paid at $215) their representative talked me out of telling me it was obsolete (promising a full credit to my account for this hosting – if I upgraded and paid full price for the upgrade 2. The requested upgraded hosting and web page design plan which I paid full price for ($278) and then requested to be ended and refunded within three days of its purchase, as it was impossible for me to use the software and Network Solutions did not keep its appt with me to help. Therefore, Network Solutions is refusing to refund $493 plus tax, all of which WAS within their policy to refund at the time of purchase. This is theft. I have been on the phone numerous times with their out-of-country billing representatives all to no avail. I have been sent an email saying I will get no refund. I have been a customer for at least 25-30 years and have never been treated like this before their recent merger. I have submitted this complaint to the BBB, which has a dismal opinion of Network Solutions and warnings about doing business with this company. “Business Profile

Wonderful customer support. I was worried about the cost for renewing the domain for one year. The support agent worked out something for me and I appreciate it.
Short Summary. Placed backorder on domain through Network Solutions that was about to expire. Checked three months later to learn domain was re-registered to web.com (Newfold.com) for five years… voiding my backorder. Does not appear to have been renewed by prior owner as the company no longer exists and the website is still down > 130 days.

The technician I spoke with was quick to understand what help I needed and was able to answer my questions clearly. She made sure that I could acces my email both on the web generally through an email search as well as through the network solutions website. Nonito B. was most helpful!

Jay of Network Solutions’s email tech team was very helpful just now. We wanted to upgrade the capacity of one employee’s email box from 1GB Essential to more, by giving it an unused “Professional” designation we hadn’t been using, and he did it for us very nicely. Now up to 15GB for that email box!
Network Solution is very complicated as to services and bills, but this time it was good.
I primarily use the “Advanced DNS Tools”. Every time I sign in, they are constantly trying to upsell me with various services I don’t want. It takes like 7 pages to get where I want to go, and it offer to Remember that i don’t need a warning to use them, but that option isn’t effective.
More advanced options like API support doesn’t exist either… but my primary gripe is above.
Website “broke” giving 500, internal server error in web browser. Looked like PHP might be the problem. Dhiraj from Network Solutions support confirmed this in a support chat and told me to upgrade PHP (from 7.4) to version 8.3. This fixed the problem – thank you very much for a fantastic support job!
The rep with whom I spent over 3 hours on the phone, was totally committed to solving my problem with getting Outlook back online as my email client. Of course his ultimate success in solving my problem makes 5 stars easy to grant, but it was the way in which he so patiently led me through the arduous process of deleting then completely rebuilding my email system. Over the last six months the people I have dealt with at Network Solutions have been great. An issue today with modifying site user access was resolved on the spot by Thanushree via the chat window. Their last set of upgrades rendered my older webpages unusable. OK, that’s fair, it was an older Drupal7 build. What I cannot overcome is the email system upgrade hid all of my folders and they say they cannot recover them. It is obvious that the folders are still in the system somewhere, but cannot be “accessed”. Several escalations and multiple phone and chat communications are futile to date, either as to understanding the issue or being able to find a fix for the issue. User since 2015.
The customer service rep I was working with (her name was Joy) was absolutely amazing!!! I cannot say enough about her customer service. Hands down the best I have ever had as far as customer service reps. She went above and beyond and was not only patient, but kind and courteous of my needs. I would give her a hundred stars if I could!!
Literally the worst host provider. I’m a web developer, I work with numerous different hosts each week. I don’t want to deal with these guys ever again. Their system is outdated. It glitches out all the time. Their shared hosting the slowest I’ve ever seen. Their customer service is nearly useless. It took me over an hour of verification codes and back-and-forth on the customer service chat today and they refused to actually help me. No other provider is this bad.

Great costumer service when needed. I cancelled my service and was expecting to be on the phone for hours trying to make it happen. To my surprise, the costumer service person handled it all in about ten minutes, including moving it up the finance office to confirm the refund. Very good work.
Manoj was very quick to know what my issue was. I was not able to log in to the website builder and Manoj immediately knew what the problem was. Google Chrome was automatically updating the site from http to https and the security settings were not correct.
