Kurt Erik “Kurtis” Lindqvist

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has announced Kurt Erik “Kurtis” Lindqvist as its next President and CEO. Lindqvist, with over 30 years of experience in the internet service provider and network carrier industries, will assume the role on December 5, 2024.

He currently serves as CEO of the London Internet Exchange (LINX) and has a strong background in internet governance and policy. ICANN’s Board of Directors selected Lindqvist after an extensive global search.
