    I have been with HostPapa, and before that Korax, for decades. I always had great service with Korax, and when they merged with HostPapa, I was a little concerned that they might not be as responsive – but I was wrong! HostPapa always helps with any issues we have, whether they are because of our outdated web pages, or anything else. They were extremely helpful in helping us migrate two old websites to Wordpress, keeping multiple versions up until we were able to finish the work. They have email support for larger issues, and live chats for simple things. Their prices are great as well. I can’t recommend them enough, they make running my business much easier!

    It’s easy to get all these things done.

    I was with them for 10 years. I started off with a shared plan, but then they forced me to upgrade to a VPS as they said I was using too many resources. They offered no help to try and reduce resource use, (which according to 3 other host providers was easy) and forced me into a very expensive plan that I did not need. They did very poorly at optimizing the server, even though I paid for a managed service. The customer tech support takes 1-8 hours to respond, and it is a new person every time and they do not read through the conversation history so you have to start over and re-explain the issue over and over. It is super frustrating. I would not recommend them when there are many better compagnies that know what they are doing.

After it happened again, the staff were kind enough to educate me on some every simple processes I was unaware of that resulted in me discovering that I was unintentionally causing the issue.     My experience with working on websites goes back to the days of coding native HTML. I find it hard to believe that no knowledge of that is necessary anymore with sites like HostPapa.

    I sometimes feel that I am being rather thick when I encounter a problem with using their site builder program or another way of creating a website. I have the feeling that if I could just dig down a bit and use some coding knowledge that I would be OK.

    It is not set up like that, however, so I have phoned for help for what has seemed like a ridiculously simple problem upon occasion. I have always found the helpline to be sympathetic and helpful. They have always helped me fix my problem without having me feel like an idiot. Very happy about that!

    Wish I had gone to HostPapa sooner. With 5 domains, one business I fell into the godaddy pit. Sure years ago they were ok. As they have grown (godaddy) support and mail service declined in my experience I made the jump to HostPapa. And HostPapa made the transition one I wish I had made sooner.
    Billing is accurate an more affordable even with the exchange rate. The best, and I repeat the best part has been HostPapa’s customer service. They have been a blessing to a novice such as I. I do not have the time or the inclination to learn the web hosting world. What I do know is every time I had an issue, a note to customer support did the trick. The response has always been within 24 hrs via portal. I recently tried the chat feature expecting the same useless script response.
    I was soon surprised I was connected to a to a real human being who took my hand and made the corrections I did not know that needed to be made to secure my email client.
    I have been using HostPapa several years with no intention to change. Wonderful product.

    When my last website host went belly under Hostpapa bought it, and I went with them. At several points the site went down due to SSL certificates, and Hostpapa failed to notify. And it’s happened again, not even an email. We were down for three days at the peak time for our main product, Amethyst. Both my webmaster and I were screaming for them to fix the SSL certificate but they do anything for three days and it was simple for them to get it together. Zero support or apology.

    Transferred our site to them for hosting in September, emails broke immediately and took 3 – 4 days to be fixed. Emails continued to break for 3 months, 8 tickets later, issues still there and unresolved. Website hosting was also botched and displayed old site for 1.5 months, until they realised, they were showing 2 different versions. On top of this, their ticket system for support, keeps asking the same questions without reviewing previous tickets related to same problem and fails when you try to send attachments with screen shots. I wish I never touched them; their support is poor and qualify of work is worse.
